How I work
Whether it's a new task from a PM, a design issue I’ve noticed, or user complaints, I start by analyzing all the information I have. I ask a lot of questions to understand the issue deeply and assess whether I need more research or have enough data to move into ideation.
If I have unanswered questions, I decide which UX research tool will help me obtain the answers. I document the entire process, whether I need more research or have enough information to start ideation. Keeping all data in one Jira file helps support my design decisions.
I start by mapping out all the information I need for the design. Then, I create user flows and other artifacts if necessary. I explore possible solutions to the problem or different ways the user can accomplish a goal. Once I have several ideas, I narrow it down to one or two that make the most sense.
The culmination of our collaborative efforts results in the delivery of a polished, cohesive digital experience that not only meets but exceeds your expectations.
For critical or new features, I validate designs with users through usability tests when possible. I also understand the importance of monitoring product analytics to ensure we’re meeting our goals. I’m always open to revisiting and enhancing designs if it's clear that adjustments are needed based on the data and user behaviors.
What I'm looking for
My carreer
I’m currently on a fixed-term contract that will soon end, and I’m now seeking a stable, long-term position where I can continue to grow as a designer while contributing to both user satisfaction and business success. I enjoy working remotely but am open to visiting the office and collaborating with the team in person when needed. I’m a quick learner, always eager to take on new challenges and expand my skills.
Developing my skills in web apps and healthcare products
I worked on a project at Qualent for a healthcare client, where I added complex features to an existing back-office tool, which I successfully completed. At Ossur, I took on research and wireframing for a web app, while also contributing to other projects, including a new website and mobile/tablet apps.
Graduated and Ready for New Challenges
In the summer, I graduated with a postgrad UX and Product Design degree from SWPS University. By the end of the year, I was laid off from the agency I worked at due to the closure of their Polish branch and began seeking new challenges.
Growing My Design Skills Across Diverse Projects
I began working at a digital agency where I had the opportunity to collaborate on numerous projects across various industries. This experience helped me strengthen my design skills while working with different clients and tackling unique challenges. At the end of the summer, I started a postgrad degree in design, where I worked on a year-long group project, further expanding my knowledge and hands-on experience.
From Logistics to UX Design
After several years working in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Planning, I decided to switch careers to UX Design. Throughout the year, I completed various design courses and bootcamps, interned at a non-profit organization, participated in design workshops, and built my portfolio to begin my job search in design. My background in logistics has equipped me with valuable skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, communication, time management, and taking full responsibility for my projects and clients, all of which I now apply to my work in UX Design.
